I normally don't do the sparkle thing, but I think some of them turned out nicely! There were several variations on each card...I didn't scan them all (I'm sure you'll thank me :)

Painting Delivery!

The painting for Anna was completed last month and we delivered it last weekend! I loved this project, it was so much fun to work with new mediums and enjoy the creative time I was able to steal away as I worked on it! Anna is a really bright spot in my life, so I was honored to work on this! Here is the progress of the painting (original sketch):

I liked the balance of the painting better when it was flipped, so I went from there :)Here is detail of the almost finished painting:

Rachel Labels

Rachel and Dido have decided to have labels on their water bottles for their reception...Very cute idea, might I add. So I've been given the task of labeling the bottles, I think they will look great! Here is one idea, which is also my favorite:

Brooklin's ABC Book

This is the last page of the book for Brooklin, my niece! This is what's been occupying my time for the past 10 days or so. I'll post some basic instructions and supplies used another time. However, here is the "story board", or first step to any bigger project... I had to plan out color placement of pages, lettering and animal color. It's not much, and it's not always understandable to others, but as long as you know what it means, you'll save time and supplies while working! {click on the pic to enlarge}

Love Letter Cubes

These blocks I made for my husband Joey, for Valentine's Day. On one side they spell the words:
"LOVE"
"JOEY"
"JENA"
on the diagonals "love eternal" (I couldn't get a good shot of it...btw, these ones don't enlarge when clicked on)

My only regret is that I stained the wood too dark. There wasn't enough contrast in some of these, but Joey doesn't mind :)

Valentine Poem for Joey

Our first Valentine's Day

the beginning of a grand thing:

Joey & I had our first valentine's day together and here's what I did to surprise him {click on the pics to enlarge}:

He LOVED it, LOVED IT! It was 7 bags of kisses of all kinds of flavors ( sorry the pic is kind of fuzzy). I took varying lengths of thread and tied them to the kiss "flags" and then taped the other end to the ceiling. I also took these fun "debit cards" from WalMart and hung them too. You can totally make your own, and probably they'd even be cuter:

So, for the burning questions on everyone's minds: Yes it was time consuming, but YES! it was totally worth it! Joey loved it so much, he left them up until they fell down on us -- they stayed up for a week or so. (Not so fun to clean up melted chocolate in the sheets when they fell and we found that we'd accidentally slept on them all night -- but still fun).
